Dear Audience,
The ideas, passion and good humour you all gave to 'Who Wants to Be...?'
last week made it our favourite theps.net event ever - so - thank you.
Your decision was to commission a 'democracy bench'. We're not sure what
that is, but I'm sure we'll find out. Here is the call for proposals:
http://tinyurl.com/whowantstobench
Please send this call out far and wide - and if you have some ideas
yourselves, please do submit them! I'm sure there are many of you with
the skills and ideas to make the most democratic bench in the world.
On the 7th December at 5pm, we will post the ideas we've received so far
onto a website where you can discuss and vote on them. On the 19th
December, the winner (the bench with the most votes) will be announced.
In the meantime, feel free to comment on the web page above with further
ideas or suggestions for the applicants.
Also - if you have resources to offer: you know someone in a London
council that might house the bench, or you are otherwise willing to help
the winner make their bench happen - let us know!
And bear with us - this might take some time to organise, but you will
get your tennersworth! Our last audience have just got their woodland
deeds! Ours is attached - the whole rest of the audience got one too!
Cheers,
Saul.
