Who Wants to Be...? at the Copenhagen Climate Forum - and your bench update!

Dear Democracy Benchers,

I know it's been over a year now, since you voted for a Democracy Bench
to be installed in a local london park, and apologies for the lack of
updates.

Since then, as you know, we ran an online competition and call for
proposals, and selected John Kennedy's 'Thing' bench. Basically, after
meetings with Southwark Council and a reality check, we realised needed
an extra 5000 quid to make this happen. I have applied to New Deal for
Communities for the money, and we are currently awaiting their answer.
I'll send another update as soon as we hear back.

In other news - we are running Who Wants to Be...? again at the
Copenhagen Climate Forum, and we'd like you to be part of the first ever
voting Internet audience!

With more people (and therefore more money) than you could fit into one
room, we reckon the fun and the impact could be really increased.
