[dlpdev] phpfying perl scripts

Hi.
I'm the president of a Linux User Group, and we want to create a
distributed library project. We are very interested in your project, but
we cannot use perl into our hosting.
So I would ask to you if there's a possibility to convert perl modules
into php, and if anyone have already done that (also in alfa or beta
stage).

Drupal has some similar way to update time (like remainder), and they've
solved with php and a crontab line that update the time and looks for
time expiration.
