xdlp,
i've got SMORE , the Semantic Markup, Ontology and RDF Editor from
mindswap.org working up at the antisystemiclibrary at LARC so i've been
having a little play around with that. what i am planning to try, is to
take wikipedia.org entries for books, writers and libraries/ nodes/
locations, and map the relations using databases and RDF / ontologies.
other wikis will probobally have to be used too, eg for 'reading-lists'
i need to get a records export from the DLP (as a spreadsheet?) then i can
make new wiki(pedia) pages, and also maybe use a programme to get RDF maps
from the spreadsheet.
i'm not sure if that could work but i would like to see that data then in
a graphical/ map form
i hope to be coming/going to Bradford for the meeting, but not sure who
else is going from london yet
