Hi.
I'm organising an event that you might be interested in. It's going to
be an exploration of collective wisdom and it would be great if you
could be involved. The idea is based on 'World Cafe' (www.worldcafe.com)
and it's a way in which a whole group can tap into the knowledge, skills
and experience of each person who comes along.
I've invited Jordan S. Hatcher (www.opencontentlawyer.com) to kick
things off with a half hour talk entitled 'Is sharing against the law?'
and from there we will be break up into small discussion groups to begin
to build the wisdom of the crowd. Basically, we will be looking at the
issues around Creative Commons such as artists using archive material,
collaboration and web 2.0
What I'd really like to know at this stage, is whether you'd be
interested in coming along, and if so, what issues you would personally
like the event to address. Here are a few responses: www.swarmtv.org/cafe
Anyway, it's happening on the 8th December, 6pm in the Card Room at
Chelsea College of Art & Design by the way.
Hope you can make it.
