Research Laboratory Lecturer – Culture Industry Up to £44,042 pa incl
pro rata Part-time (0.2fte) 1 year fixed term New Cross, London

Working within the Centre for Cultural Studies who are a global leader
in cultural theory and specialise in practice related postgraduate work,
you will be a core member of the teaching team on our new MA in Culture
Industry. You will tutor a wide range of culture industry projects and
research, and offer practical skills training. You will be responsible
for establishing, administering and supporting placements.

You will have a good first degree or equivalent and have experience of
practice based work in the culture industry. You will also have a high
level of teaching experience especially at postgraduate level. You will
also have an ability to undertake original research. You may be an
artist or practitioner. Engagement in individual practice projects in
media art, or design or other areas of the culture industry is
desirable.

The MA in Culture industry takes a critical and experimental approach
to cultural production, and aims to use, test and go beyond the constraints 
of
the culture industry. We are looking for someone who enjoys making
and facilitating projects to take this job on.
