As part of the London Games Festival Fringe, there's a series of short talks on games that make a difference, on Saturday 1 November, 2 pm to 6 pm, in Birkbeck College University of London. See http://www.makingadifference.cogible.com/ for details. This event is free to attend.
Speakers include computer games developers, academics, and artists. We'll try to ask fundamental questions about games and simulations, to show some successful examples and suggest some business models, and to introduce some helpful resources.
Artists speaking are Keith Watson (on art and games) and Saul Albert (on Who Wants To Be..?), both well known to this mailing list.
