CINE: Launch of LONDON-DELHI 2010 - 2012
----------------------------------------------------------------
You are invited to attend the launch of new season of CINE networking
events and talks at Watermans!
This will also mark a Watermans new collaboration with Sarai Media Lab
in Delhi and London-Delhi 2010-2012 project.
London – Delhi 2010 – 2012 is a digital arts collaboration between
artists and young people of the two capital cities. It begin with a week
long presentations, organised walks and discussions by participating
artists. London- Delhi 2010 – 2012: Artist Lab in London brings together
artist from both cities to discuss the differences and similarities in
Urban, Digital and River frontiers of two cities preparing for the Games.
Evening will be launched with presentations by Artist Lab participants:
independent film-makers, Mark Saunders and Adnan Hadzi from the UK and
Sarai media lab artists, Iram Ghufran & Amitabh Kumar from Delhi.
The launch will be followed by networking over drinks and canapés

Walk I: Battersea Power Station Tour led by Mark Saunders (Open to the
public)
This tour includes Vauxhall developments, the new bus station, a
riverside walk and presentation on Battersea Power Station. A picnic in
Battersea park with some local history followed by a walk through three
distinctive and unusual social housing estates.
Wed 1 July,
Walk II: Urban Frontier - East London led by Ben Seymour (Open to the
public)
This tour includes a trip to Broadway Market, a walk through London
Fields, and the Hackney Town Hall Square development area, the official
story of the Olympics at the Hackney Museum, picnic in the park, then a
ride over to the Olympic Zone to see what it's like in real life
