Registration for DAC09 is now open: 
online at http://www.dac09.uci.edu
Until October 14th, reduced rates are available for full and student 
registration.

Special conference-rate hotel bookings: 
have also been negotiated at selected conference hotels. These hotels 
have also agree to offer reduced 'early-bird' rates, available until 
Oct14. These hotels also guarantee shuttle service to and from the 
conference. These rates be available online soon.

Travellers please note:
UCI is very close to JohnWayne/Orange County/SNA airport (10 minutes).
LAX is 45minutes away by car (minimum). There is no public transport :(.
Long Beach Airport is about 30 minutes away, again, no public transport.
Commercial shuttles are available from Long Beach and LAX.

John Wayne is not an international  airport, but connecting flights 
are available from many major US airports. The Atrium Hotel (one of 
the conference hotels) is adjacent to John Wayne. We suggest that 
connecting from a  transatlantic flight into NY, Altlanta, Chicago, 
to a flight to John Wayne etc may be a quicker and more comfortable 
way to arrive at UCI - especially at peak hour - which in LA is most 
of the time.

More travel and location information will be posted on the website soon.
