selected conference hotels. These hotels have also agree to offer
reduced 'early-bird' rates, available until Oct14. These hotels
also guarantee shuttle service to and from the conference. These rates

<div><font face="Arial" size="+1">Travellers please note:</font></div>
<div><font face="Arial" size="+1">UCI is very close to
JohnWayne/Orange County/SNA airport (10 minutes).</font></div>
<div><font face="Arial" size="+1">LAX is 45minutes away by car
(minimum). There is no public transport :(.</font></div>
<div><font face="Arial" size="+1">Long Beach Airport is about 30
minutes away, again, no public transport.</font></div>
<div><font face="Arial" size="+1">Commercial shuttles are available
from Long Beach and LAX.</font></div>
<div><font face="Arial" size="+1"><br></font></div>
<div><font face="Arial" size="+1">John Wayne is not an international
airport, but connecting flights are available from many major US
airports. The Atrium Hotel (one of the conference hotels) is adjacent
to John Wayne. We suggest that connecting from a transatlantic
flight into NY, Altlanta, Chicago, to a flight to John Wayne etc may
be a quicker and more comfortable way to arrive at UCI - especially at
peak hour - which in LA is most of the time.</font></div>
