Hello,

Apologies for the cut off, I had some problems hearing you all
anyway. I think for skype-based meeting goers it's better if we can
see the video of you all (that is cut off with the conference call),
and also if you message which URLs you are looking at/talking about.

I had a couple of thoughts on the web dev - I agree with Ilze that it
shouldn't be launched unless it's skinned properly. If NODE.London is
a focus point for media arts I would think that we need to set an
example which means having a highly usable, easy to understand (text
wise) site that non media arts people can understand. So limited
jargon, and easy access to the important bits (I guess events will be
pretty high priority).

It would also be good if the launch coincided with a call to action,
to get involved, place a vote, register your interest or something a
bit motivating (sorry if this is what you were saying). i.e.

"Bored of the economy? Us too. Let's take the lead with OurCash
Node.London's currency. The 2010 Season of Media Arts in London is
saying f*ck you to the Bank of England. Sign up here."

In fact I think there will be two launches - the populating launch
getting people involved and then the publicity launch getting people
to attend.

Designers wise - I've seen a few sites done by these people http://
www.jaggeree.com/ they seem super new ( I don't know them ), but it
could be an option. They did http://www.rebootbritain.com/ and
another, better, young people's conference one but I lost the URL.

Best wishes,

Julie
