<BR><FONT SIZE=2>Furtherfield do where she asked me about the subject and whether I would </FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2>be involved</FONT>

<P><FONT SIZE=2>I replied, hmmm, maybe, a bit, to which she responded she sincerely </FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2>hoped so and it would be a bit crazy if I wasn't</FONT>

<P><FONT SIZE=2>so wondering why she thought this important, I asked her did she expect </FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2>all present site data to appear in new site to which she replied most </FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2>definitely. Apparently old/present site is used as a kind of reference </FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2>resource by the British Council I assume as a sort of compendium of who </FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2>is active in new media in London (and further a field) and I can see </FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2>this would therefore be of particular concern to Rachel.</FONT>

<P><FONT SIZE=2>so as I got a report that migrating the data was a bit undecided from </FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2>the first drafting meeting, I thought it worth mentioning it does seem </FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2>Rachel is keen that it happens. (it is possible though that not all </FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2>areas of data on the old site have equal value in her eyes?)</FONT>

<P><FONT SIZE=2>which would a mean a little bit of my time (a couple of hours only maybe </FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2>- this the small involvement that I imagined happening) showing Lisa </FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2>Haskel around the old data structure, quite a substantial bit of her </FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2>time (but eminently doable she thinks) writing scripts etc to do the </FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2>migration and so on.</FONT>
</P>
<P><FONT SIZE=2>if images attached to data objects were to be retained there might be </FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2>some implications for design of new site as scaling down might be fine </FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2>but scaling up not so fine</FONT>
