To Whom it May Concern!

Here's a roundup of what The People Speak are doing this summer, part  
one. You should join us at some, or all of these parties, because  
they're going to be GOOD.

First of all we'd like to invite you all to join us on June 22nd at  
the most talkative social in Shoreditch - the Talkaoke Training  
Session at the Cremer St nerve centre. BYO drinks and come and have a  
chat - no holds barred. Also, we're always (and perpetually)  
recruiting for new hosts, too - so if you think you might have what it  
takes to get in the middle of the Talkaoke table, we'd like to hear  
from you. Drop a mail to asia at thepeoplespeak.org.uk - or just turn up  
and try your luck! Long summer nights go well with heated discussions  
about whatever comes to mind - if the weather holds out, we might even  
be chatting al fresco.

Next up, we're doing a Talkaoke on June 29 as part of the Science  
Museum Lates program. Free, adults-only, and with plenty of  
interesting subjects at hand, the conversation is guaranteed to be

We're also excited about Talkaoke at the Eden Project on July 1st. The  
Eden Project is an amazing biodiversity project built in a disused  
mine in Cornwall and they're holding a series of "Eden Sessions"  
throughout the summer. Tickets for the Fleet Foxes - the evening  
program - are selling fast if you want to catch them, otherwise just  
come down for the Talkaoke during the day.

A lesser-known but much loved project of The People Speak - One Night  
Grandstand ( http://onenightgrandstand.co.uk/?page_id=2 ) is being  
aired at the Shoreditch Games on the 15th July in Shoreditch Park.  
This is going to be terrific - we bring the crowd effects and  
commentators and let the youth of Shoreditch battle it out for a  
trophy. One Night Grandstand is a great project and this will be an

And finally, we're proud to report that the ace visual effects  
team(Zsolt and crew) at The People Speak are responsible for  
background graphics on some episodes of David Mitchell's Soapbox. Our  
studio's been awash with alphabetti spaghetti and we've been staging a  
remake of a stag party aka the last supper with various satellite  
members of ThePS as disciples (so in other words, business as usual).
